How Running An Ebay Business Isn't All Hard Work And Can Be Fun.

It is a usual feeling that you can't be doing anything worthwhile on eBay or in business generally if you are actually having fun doing it. The all to common attitude is if you have fun it is not work and that being the case you can't make a living at it.

So as a result lot of people have become suspicious about the concept of fun when related to business. If they're having it, they think they had better stop, and get serious instead.

But I notice that people who do make money on the net on the whole have a lot of fun doing it especially those that make a lot of money.

When you speak to the experts it is apparent that the concept of work is a drag, as something serious that you need to take a break from, is foreign to them.

It's almost as if we are expected by society to work our butts off until we reach retirement and then retire. Most of us in almost poverty with barely a few dollars in our checking acccounts and our IRA's.

However on the other side of the coin are those who enjoy making their money. On the whole they are more content, less stressed.With their bank accounts full and their sanity in tact they could not care less about working to retirement as they face every single day with renewed challenge and enthusiasm. Why retire from that?

There are a majority of people on the net that fall in to one of two categories: First there are those that believe that the intracies of eBay is beyond them and they will need some sort of gift from god to run any kind of business.The second group are not much different believing that they would never be able to competete against so many other people. The biggest challenge I find with coaching people is overcoming this mindset problem. Too many people think business has to be run to very strict rules and guidelines which removes the fun element of being in a virtual business.

To master eBay and make a lot of money you don't need to tie yourself up with the intricate details but you do need a fertile imagination and to be happy to stray away from the herd. To many people focus on unimportant stuff and miss the opportunities to have fun.

According to several Internet marketing experts most people paralyze themselves with an intimidating picture of the potential of eBay. They think of the millions that can be made on it. The thought excites them and then paralyzes them.

"The most important thing is just to get started". This is the mantra from those that have succeeded. You must have the capacity to think big but you must be content with starting small and going slow until you have it down.
